Trouble in Paradise(s)

In Iran people are rioting due to gas rationing. Why ration gas there? Because they lack refineries. Hmmmmm.

Iran is insisting it has to have nuclear fuel for energy. Maybe if they put some of that cash into building refineries vs nuclear “energy” plants they could solve some of their problems.
My favorite line in the story is this one though:

There was violence in nine areas of Tehran as angry youths attacked petrol stations, Raja News, a website linked to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, reported.

Once again those “angry youths” are at it!

And in Venezuela, while there isn’t trouble yet, it looks like since nationalizing the oil rigs they are going to lose 2 major oil companies who know what they are doing. Good luck with that Mr. Hugo Chavez. In the meantime I shall find all the Conoco and Exxon stations around to buy my gas there.

  1. And I am sure those “angry youths” have nothing else to be angry about from the Kidnapper in Chief……….too bad somebody can’t snipe that guy out………
