No Child Left Behind

Apparently 30% of people have been left behind because apparently 30% of the people haven’t read The Grapes of Wrath as was required in all the schools around here.

How do I know? USAToday cites the 30% number as being the number of people who think we’re in a depression.

UPDATE: Actually ‘no child left behind’ started just 6-7 years ago. It’s probably the folks before it started [yet, after I graduated!] who’ve been left.

  1. I have been told we are in a depression by real people I know and it amazes me….I have food to eat a roof over my head and a job and so do they…from what my dad tells me the GD wasn’t so comfortable.
