Barack Quote

Let’s be the generation that ends poverty in America. Every single person willing to work should be able to get job training that leads to a job, and earn a living wage that can pay the bills, and afford child care so their kids have a safe place to go when they work. Let’s do this.

And for those unwilling to continue school? Or search for a job? Or for those people who’s job it is to provide child care that’s affordable?
I’m sorry, but right now, every single person is given a chance for job training. There are tons of job training services out there at cost/below cost/no cost depending on your circumstances. Same goes for interviewing skills.

What more is he suggesting? That the government, have a person that will take you to this job training and then drive you to the interviews? And watch your children for you? Let’s get specific.

  1. I am sick, and tired of Senator republican nominee talking about Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. We are aware, that it all started with the war in Iraq. Senator McCain should be held accountable for the failures of the Bush’s regime. America should know the truth. His slanderous words does not mean nothing.

  2. Gloria,
What the hell are you talking about? How does Fannie/Freddie have anything to do with Obama’s quote on here.

And as an aside, I am sick and tired of the “talking points” of the Democrats such as yourself where you are just throwing comments about for nothing!!!

Americans should know the truth. Obama took the 2nd biggest amount of slush fund money from Fannie and Freddie and Democrats voted against every reform offered up by McCain and Bush. If you are sick and tired of the truth then you are in the correct party for your sensitivities.
